When you come to
Liberty Baptist
Church you will meet
people full of life
and love from our
Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus tells us in
the gospel of John
that He came to this
earth to give us not
just life but
abundant life! You
can have this
abundant life when
you enter into a
personal
relationship with
Jesus Christ by
faith.
When you trust Jesus Christ as your
personal Savior, you
not only receive
life but you receive
eternal life! This
means that you will
spend
eternity—forever in
heaven with God.
The first epistle of
John, chapter five
tells us, “And this
is the record, that
God hath given to us
eternal life, and
this life is in his
Son. He that hath
the Son hath life;
and he that hath not
the Son of God hath
not life. These
things have I
written unto you
that believe on the
name of the Son of
God; that ye may
know that ye have
eternal life, and
that ye may believe
on the name of the
Son of God.” The
“Son” in these
verses is God’s only
Son Jesus Christ!
The only way that
you can receive the
gift of eternal life
is through Jesus
Christ. He came to
this earth, born of
a virgin, lived a
perfect life, and
died on the cross of
Calvary shedding His
blood to pay for our
sins. After He died
on the cross, He
miraculously arose
from the grave so
that all who put
their faith in Him
repenting of their
sins would receive
eternal life—heaven
as their eternal
home! Speaking of
Heaven, our eternal
home, the gospel of
John chapter 14
tells us this: “Let
not your heart be
troubled: ye believe
in God, believe also
in me. In my
Father’s house are
many mansions: if it
were not so, I would
have told you. I go
to prepare a place
for you. And if I
go and prepare a
place for you, I
will come again, and
receive you unto
myself; that where I
am, there ye may be
also. Thomas
saith unto him,
Lord, we know not
whither thou goest;
and how can we know
the way? Jesus
saith unto him, I am
the way, the truth,
and the life: no man
cometh unto the
Father, but by me.”
So the most
important question
you must answer is
this: Got Life?
Are you 100% certain
that if you had to
stand before God
right now that He
would allow you to
enter heaven? You
can know for sure,
as the Bible
teaches, that you
will go to heaven
when this earthly
life is over. As
the pastor of
Liberty Baptist
Church I urge you,
if you have not
received Jesus
Christ as your
Savior, if you do
not know right now
that you are going
to heaven, receive
salvation today!
The book of Romans
chapter 10 tells us
this, “That if thou
shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine
heart that God hath
raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be
saved. For with
the heart man
believeth unto
righteousness; and
with the mouth
confession is made
unto salvation.
For the scripture
saith, Whosoever
believeth on him
shall not be
ashamed. For
whosoever shall call
upon the name of the
Lord shall be
saved.”
To be saved right
now simply bow your
head and with a
sincere heart pray
something like
this: “God I know
that I am a sinner,
but I also know that
Jesus Christ is the
Savior. I believe
that He died on the
cross for my sins
and rose again.
Please forgive my
sins, save my soul,
and be my Savior.
In Jesus’ name I
pray this prayer,
Amen!” Every person
must be saved in
order to go to
heaven and in order
to have life. I
pray that you will
receive Jesus Christ
and experience real
life today!
